It's a fretless 4 string cookie tin resonator. I found a couple nice pieces of birds eye maple for necks and used one on this build. Paint lid resonator, paint lid sound holes and handmade bridge and tailpiece. I found a piece of 1/8" birch ply that was more or less book matched so I cut and fitted it to the back which gave a nice effect.
Zero structural integrity to the cookie tin, especially with the middle cut out. I have an oak log through the middle and more 1/8" birch ply glued under the top to try and counter act the buckling. It's stable now and sounds decent. Vintage tuners and a gutted dollar store microphone for a pick-up complete the build.
