this was the first 3 string guitar i made. the snakeskin is a gift bag i found laying around, and the metal resonator is a cherrybomb cigarillo tin. plaster washers cover the sound holes. i had heavier strings on it at first for a real bluesy sound, but the poplar neck started to bow. it now has lighter gauge strings.

thanks for the comments guys... yeah the frets are indeed flat toothpicks. they're just glued for now. and then sanded lightly to take off the edge. once i get a little more experience under my belt, i'll experiment with something else. this was the first chromatic fretboard i've fretted. i'm pretty happy with it!

Are those frets made of toothpicks if so how did you attach them just glue them or did you cut a slot for them
