It just doesn't get any more basic than this. My Build #16. A 37" scale sub-bass diddley bow tuned to low A (below E). This very long scale was made possible by eliminating the use of a bridge. This bass has 5 parts: A stick, a can, a tuner, a screw, & a string. (plus 5 more screws to attach the can and the tuner of course)
