The ribbon is there to prevent the box from opening up too far and damaging the wiring. I underestimated how much wire to use, but I really like the ribbon. It comes from a box of cigars and I couldn't bring my self to throw it away. I'll do this on more builds, a Happy Accident.

I've been doing that with all my builds, it puts the piezo in direct contact this the sound board right under the bridge, a little hot glue for a buffer then fill the hole with hot glue. they sound amazing. Thanks for looking.
