This is my first guitar. The box was something I'd had kicking around for years, and it was covered in black vinyl, and lined with green baize, all of which I removed with paint-stripper. It plays really nicely. I fitted the neck with a fixed 6mm square truss-rod, as I wasn't sure how much strain the strings would put on it. It all works really well, and the humbucker is a bit of a beast, to my ears at least!

Hi Richey, the switching is an on/on/on for the humbucker, for series, parallel and phase, and the central switch is a straight forward selection switch. The rear switch is phase (I think?) to be honest I haven't played it for ages, and don't remember! That sounds bad, but I have been busy with art work and other things, so guitar playing has been neglected.
Hi Dante, the soundhole covers are actually a couple of grommets from a cardboard tube, with brass stampings affixed with hot glue! I used silver gilding wax on the stampings to change the colour. Necessity is the mother of I mention. I like repurposing things when I'm making something.

Great build, amazing for a first in fact. Could I ask what the wiring configuration is? What are the 3 switches for?
