Bone fret idea

Tried my hand at making bone frets last nite, trying to do one with a tang is hard but just making the slot a bit wider and using a solid bone blank might be do able.

    I use the chop sticks for nuts and fret markers. The square ends make a nice change for fret markers instead of dots.

    It probably wouldn`t be functional for steel strings but for a uke build it would be.

    Man that looks good. I have some melamine "ivory" chopsticks I might try something similar with. Most Asian grocers have em for $2 for 24 and they are already strait.
