What a stunning neck. How did you get the stripes? Do you stick the two woods together yourself, does that work well enough? It looks like a massive mint humbug, love it!

I ripped the mahogany and the maple on the table saw and glued them
then I glued the fretboard on
from there was plenty of belt sander and hand rasp work
I have built two other six stringers with solid necks and no problems
just the addition of the 3/8 thick fretboard adds plenty of strength
but with all of those layers------
you could hit a baseball with this one!!!
