    i think its steel. and upside down as the flow of the design went in that direction. hasnt been finished yet. waiting on a better neck.

    Great looking drawer!  nice dovetail joints.   What made you decide to place the resonator upside-down?   Just experimenting?!   Is the lid stainless steel or aluminum?
