Nearly completed 4 string with birch bark laminated to the box. Oak neck and mahogany fretboard with nail frets.

    @ Ryan Rose - It's funny that you mention the canoe.  I built a cedar strip canoe with my dad and have built a couple other small plywood boats.  Once I started working with the birch bark,  I saw why it was used.  It's the original plywood/veneer.  I tried to bend a piece to the breaking point and it was hard to do.

    Thanks gents.  Worked on it a bit tonight but didn't get very far.  Will post a vid when I'm done.
