I usually don't install the strings through the box like this, because you have to take the whole thing apart to change one. It is a cool look though - sometimes just the thing. I use pop rivets for string ferrules. They come in several colorsI like to carve my own bridge and saddles. God knows I have enough little wood pieces laying around.
