This weekend I was visiting my best friend Randy Hinck (Plowboys BBQ) at the American Royal. I had brought my bed pan guitar and decided to try some of the teams and/or cooks to sign it. I hit the jack pot. I was able to get Tippy canoe, Big Bob Gibson, Ponderosa BBQ, Plowboys, Cool Smoke, Jacks Old South, Big Poppa Smokers, Lotta Bull, Shigggin Grinnin, Smoke on Wheels, QUAN BBQ, Smoking Triggers,B&B BBQ, Iowa's Smokey D's, BBQ Brethren. I had Sterling Ball of Ernie Ball Strings sign it for his team Big Poppa Smokers. They won the Invitational this year. Shiggin and Grinnin won the Open class with a record of 546 teams this year. Myron Dixon, Tuffy Stone, Johnny Trig, Moe Cason and Kevin Roberts Host of BBQ Pit Masters.
