  • Becky will manage, I will have to send you a CD of the band, the first track features the first CBG I made, a slider with metal bridge and metal nut, sounds better than I ever dreamed it could. Guy plays it along with the trombone, trumpet, keyboard and harmonica. Gavin who lives in Madrid plays everything you could think of so I am very, very lucky man.

  • Tell Becky to muscle up. Bass is not for the faint of heart! (Just teasing) I have a Fender 5 string that weighs a ton and as a result I don't play it as often. But seriously, extra weight in a bass equals extra tone.

  • That box is going to make a fantastic bass! You really scored on that one. Speaking of grand-kids, my first one, Silas, turns his first year over on the 28th. He already is obsessed with playing the CBG's. He goes into the garage/shop with me a fiddles with the tools. He loves to sort through my cigar box collection. I hope to get a small box and build one that he can hold. I'll get a pic or two up soon...
