I swore I'd never do this...

I've always looked down my nose at mass-produced guitar necks on CBGs. But, a good friend had a funky super-short bass (24" scale length) and wanted it CBG'd. I fit a solid chunk of ash inside a nice wood box and fit the neck to that, re-using the pickup but adding a new bridge. It really sounds good!
