    Looks great! I tried Nylon wrapped flat wounds and then various WW, different sizes for different strings and tuning. Actually like the WW better. (I'm not much of a player but know the sound.) I really want to do more simplified designs. Piezo is an experimental my one son (electronic engineer) and I are working on. When we get it more defined I'll send you one to try.

    I'm going to build one like yours. Here's a small CBG bass that I take with me a lot. Scale is 24 3/4 Gibson, flatwounds, piezo, etc
