  • Pattie:  No i don't have a web page right now. A fellow carver did set one up a couple of years ago to

promote/sell carvings within our club, but only two people signed up, myself and another carver and overall

it was not a big success, there were not that many hits and the club didn't sanction the website, so in the

end, the website was folded. So far, I've only sold a couple and given most to family.  I started off with

birds, then went to fish.  Now, I'm just doing charity items for a pet rescue organization.

  • Love the birds especially the hummingbirds, a family member used to have no less than 15 hummingbird feeders in her back yard, was a joy to sit and watch them flying around the feeders, one even let her know when feeders needed to be refilled..your work is very very nice, do you have a webpage that shows these wonderful carvings?
  • Thanks Keni...unfortunately for us carvers, carvings are not consided an art form like paintings
or scu;lptures and although people admire them..in my neck of the woods, a carver could
starve unless you have another source of income. The thing that people don't understand is
that each carving is an original and the amount of time spent on each carving can run into
50-80 even over a hundred hours by the time the base/habitat and hand painting is done.
  • Wow! This is some impressive work. Hard to find real craftsmen that carve today. It is sad, that in this age people buy all that cast resin stuff. They don't see the value in investing in the real deal and supporting the arts. I was in China back in 2005. They took us to so many stores selling the same crap that you can buy in NYC Chinatown. Although, I was fortunate to find a stone cutter. I bought a beautiful hand cut statue. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy.
  • Beautiful work man. Birds are cool.
