    the black plastic insert is from a roll of material and it fits into the end of a cardboard tube that the material is rolled onto. the tube has an insert on each side to be able to put the roll of material on a pipe or dowell to make the roll of material easier to pull the material from the roll onto a table fer cutting.the pipe or dowell is set on a bracket at the end of a cutting table for easy acess to the roll of material.these designs are from the world of upholstery work which i have been a part of for many years.

    What is the insert for the resonator? I meant the part the jar lid is going into? Will this setup actually work as a resonator? All very cool.
