Asylum is a 3 string fretless bass, 33.5" scale tuned EAD. Maple neck and fingerboard with Danish oil finish. Converts to an upright by screwing leg made from curtain rod into threaded socket. .105, .80 and .65 weedwacker strings rest on Corian saddle which rests on rod piezo routed into cedar cigar spacer bridge.
