amp mostly open

I saw this box at the cigar guy's place and knew it had to become an amp! I just re-worked some of the wiring and such on a honeytone. The crystal lites up really cool, better it looks in the pic. Still have to add some custom polymer knobs and it's done. I think the wood box and the extra space makes it sound better than the stock unit. I like how it's hidden, u don't know it's an amp til u open it!

    Thanks for the compliment Dail! I free-handed the treble-clef onto the face of a piece of 1/8" maple ply. I don't have a scroll-saw yet, so I had to carve through using X-Acto blades and smoothed it with my mini-files. Just forming the custom knobs tonite!

    This has to be the best looking amp I've seen on the net. I hope you documented it for youtube! Awesome scroll work! How was that accomplished?
