AGP #351 - “4 Wood” -(3 String Fretless Guitar )Scale :660.4mm/26inchesStrings :.034NW/.021NW/.016PS/ - Tuning :C/G/c/A build Inspired by the recent Dennis Reedy “57” Chevy Strato-Fender Guitar, a beautiful build!, was very impressed with the body shape & design style, thanks for the idea Dennis, I’m more than happy with the way this one turned out. :-)The body is Grey Ironbark , European Poplar & Radiata Pine, the Neck is Grey Ironbark, the Fretboard is Cypress Pine, a total of four different timber species, hence the name “4 Wood”, a 4.2k 4 Pole Bass Pickup is Hardwired to the Jack. :-)

"Thanks Richard" Wow a very high rating my friend, I figured I had something special (in my eyes anyway) when I finished the build, but never thought it would create as much interest as it has :-)
"Thanks Dennis", this build wouldn't have happened without your inspirational "57" Chevy Strato-Fender creation, and yes it's a solid woody, unfortunately I didn't take any pics of the building process, but the basics are:- depth of the body is 36mm, the 2 side wings are solid Radiata Pine from an old landscape sleeper, the separating timber is European Poplar from and old Piano I deconstructed a few years back, the top and bottom center pieces are 2 18mm thick pieces of Grey Ironbark from an old TV cabinet discarded by one of my grandsons, all glued together with PVA glue, bar the removable top piece, which is held by 4 screws to give access to the wiring etc :-)
Like the shape ,ha ha . Do you have pictures of the building process, I would like to see them, I have some too. Send them to dreedy48@ gmail.com. Yours is a woody. Thanks for letting me influence you. I have a scrap telecaster in the works.
