AGP #333 - “Bones”(3 String Cigar Box Guitar)Scale : 571mm / 22½inchesStrings : .036NW / .021NW / .017PS /Tuning : / B / F# / b /This Build was obviously inspired by my fellow Aussie Mate and ex Sailor Jeff ‘Bones’ Reilly from the “State Down Under” in the “Land Down Under”, so no prizes for guessing who it was named after, and of course the Neck is Tasmanian Oak, which was given a coat of 50/50 Linseed Oil & Turps, a 3 Pole Delta Type Pickup is hardwire to the Jack, the box is another one that has sat in the shed for years, and had not been used because of my mistaken belief that they were too small, but!, this one and #331, are a “Fair Dinkum Hoot” to play. :-D

"Thanks Bones" and thanks for the idea, like most builds I see on the Nation that are different, I normally have to build one, I didn't find much difference with the Offset Neck to play, will try and make a quick sound sample, as with #331 not a lot of acoustic qualities but the little bugger roars when amped up and distorted, the string gauges were fitted for an open C tuning, but when I got it up to open B it sounded right, so there it stays at the moment. :-)
"Thanks Dennis", I don't do a lot of actual Cigar Box builds these days, like yourself most of my builds are from recycled stuff and junk I accumulate from Charity shops etc., my! "Custom Shop" is a "Tin Garden Shed" in the backyard, and any "Super Skills" I have were learnt from this Cigar Box Nation site :-D
Now that’s rad AGP# great to see the off set neck how do you like it when you play it .? Truly humbled by the inspiration I have given you and naming it after me what a hoot to say the least . Looking forward to hearing it play .
