"Thanks' Erasmo", the colour does suggest it was a Military Jerry Can, I, like a lot of people at first would assume the USMC stands for "United States Marine Corp", but I'm led to believe that it stands for U.S. Metal Container Company, of Miami, Oklahoma. :-D
