Finished rounding the neck, and just finished the wiring, in a bit of a quandary at the moment on how to finish it, leave natural, or to apply a light or dark stain???

    i vote for natural.  Gunstock oil or tung oil works well.

    Thanks for that tip 'pick', the coin come down with a darkish stain called "Jarrah", which is an Australian Hardwood.
