Thanks Andy. I use a stock rosewood bridge as my guide, but I custom build each to the specific mando. #5 was built with Padauk wood.
I would suggest taking a stock bridge, glue some 220 sandpaper to a piece of flat hardwood, and just sand the bottom piece of the stock bridge until it fits your flat top.
That's beautiful work! I bet it sounds great. Question: Where did you find the bridge? I need an adjustable compensated bridge for my flat-top octave mandolin.
