A nice little First Act beginner guitar. 24" scale. These are really inexpensive at yard sales and flea markets, usually $1 or so. 99% of the time, the bridge is separating from the body, so they just don't play anymore. Perfect for this conversion. Stick a 9" pie tin, with a saucepan lid knob, a spatula head as tailpiece, a couple kitchen sink drain strainers for soundhole covers, add a single coil magnetic pickup, and you've got a nice little resonator guitar. Does it sound like a 1934 National? NO! But for less than $10, you can't go wrong. Especially electric!
