A son of a CBG customer contacted me to see about repairing his busted headstock. I said I'd give it a shot but no guarantees and he was good with that. So I took this on as a resume builder because I knew the repair would cost way more than he paid for the guitar. Out of curiosity, I looked online and found a place in Chicago that says they can fix anything. I looked at their price list and for what I was about to do to this would cost about $800 or more. As an "owner with a broken guitar", I emailed them photos and told them what I wanted done just to see what it would actually cost. I got a reply back that it was "unrepairable".
