Thank you Antonio. When the back is still a rectangle, I clamp a straight edge to the piece and run a plunge router down the seam with a 1/4 bit. Then glue in the trim piece. Once that is dry, I cut the body shape out of the rectangle.
Mark, that is simply a wonderful work of precision and art. lovely to look at and i'll bet sounds just as wonderful. I bet the person who gets that is a happy camper !!!! i love how you did the spine in the back . how is that done ? its wonderful i was watching what you had been posting as it went along . what a joy to watch the masters work. thanks for sharing
