601 three string CBG - open

This is the guitar that I used on my video of House of the Rising Sun - http://www.cigarboxnation.com/video/house-of-the-rising-sun-1It has a dark 601 box, parana pine neck, rubber wood fretboard and bridge (bottom part or the bridge is cedar), ebony nut and saddle, copper side markers, gold plated tuners, two piezo discs sandwiched in the bridge.     Hi Penny.

    Thank you very much. You really don't need much glue. Just spots because the pressure of the strings on the bridge holds the thing together. Thanks also for the comments about my website.

    So elegant inside the box. I am absolutely going to use the hot glue method in future builds. Congrats on the website it looks great by the way : )

    Hi Michael.

    The neck is held with just a few spots of hot glue at either end so it can be easily removed if needed. In normal use the strings keep it in place without any problems.

    Hello Oily.

    Just the effects of using a moderately wide lens and a bit of an angle on it. I have no plans to do tapered necks until I do a six string (a long way off). Thanks for the comments.

    This is another gorgeous effort. Do I detect a slight neck taper, or is that just perspective?
