I'm calling this a test of faith - no dowels or pins- just 'Gorilla Glue'. The center rail is set into a slot in the neck that's about an inch-and-a-half deep so there's plenty of surface area for the glue to grab. the outside rails - not so much. I gritted my teeth and wore eye protection the first time I tuned it up but everything held. Now I'm playing it in and will see if the glue holds.
