These are the largest Gran Habano boxes that I've found, they are about 1 1/2 feet long and over 8 inches wide and about 4 plus inches tall. They make big acoustic sound.
These boxes are huge and made out of super thin 3 ply spanish cedar plywood. They are not a very durable box unless you brace or reinforce the edges and corners and then they are fine and they actually sound like a small parlor guitar acoustically. They sound great and have good volume.
I'd really love to hear how this sounds. I have two of these that I thought would be speaker cabinets (they still might) but this pic makes me wonder. I had also considered a table top dulcimer.

These boxes might make great bass boxes. Braced up with spruce struts and kerfing. Or maybe a chello.
