Oh my God, I didn't even notice they were Corsairs! That is awesome! The very idea of airplane soundholes is really cool, but the Corsair was always one of my favorites, and that makes it doubly cool.
Thanks Werner, I built this for a friend who has had the box forever. He said it was WWII era. It took a few weeks to get the idea of using the Corsair fighter for the soundholes and headstock shape. The response has been great and I'll do it again if another WWII era box pops up.
