Yeah, I love the design of the not-a-tailpiece too!
I'm inspired by your design, that you saw that shape in the L stock. Great job! Do the two bolt looking things hold actual string trees on the underside?
How did you cut and polish it so nicely?
I just spent many hours cutting a piece of brass for a tailpiece with a jeweler's saw w/ those insanely tiny blades, then many more hours filing and sanding it smooth. I'm sure there is an easier way.
Thanks Bob - no mate the Tail is made from a L section of Alloy - i just cut it down some it's not a Tail Piece as such it's a String Tree to apply pressure to the strings over the bridge but i made it to look like a Tail Piece :)
