Hi and thanks for the kind words! The sound is quite different. I guess the board absorbs some of the sound. What's cool is that every build us different. I like the unexpected nature of each guitar. I'm playing with gourds, too. I have another material I'm going to experiment with in the future... Top secret ;)
The corners, I got from Woodworkers Supply. We have a store near by but I bet you could order them online. They have a filigree design on them. Very nice!
