I drilled through the guitar at an angle and put rivets in each side of the hole to protect the wood from the strings. Pretty much the same thing I do for most guitars except this is at an angle because the neck is not a through-the-box design.
i like this it is cool, sets my standards for the cover plate i have not built yet.great looking build. i like every thing about it. thanks fer posting this pic,lost monk.
