I put all the bits on to see how it's going to look. I just have to drill the string holes through the muffler end and do the wiring. I'm so very tempted to put a mini humbucker in the neck position, but the plank looks so good without it too. I have a Piezo potted under the sink hole and another under the the muffler below the string ends. I'm not sure how it will sound, but if it sounds good, I'll just run with the two piezo's.

Thanks Guys, I'm pretty happy with it. It's really satisfying making these guitars, I can see how addictive CBG's are now. I'm also building a 5 watt practice amp for my CBG's...... stay tuned !! :o)
I have made my mind up, I'm going to just go with the two piezo's and a three way switch for the moment. It's looking like it might to too much hassle to route a bucker hole and I'm a bit worried that the plank might split more and weaken the body. so the off cut from this plank will be the pickup bells and whistles premium build, that way I can really plan it out properly. This build was more a build as I go along with what ever bits I had.
Thanks a bunch for all your kind comments and interest in my first build. I have learned so much in the process. :-o)

Wow, fabulous! First rate. Over the top.
Great looking git !!!
Really nice 1st build by the way!
Figure it out as you go is the best way most times. With a plan you become kinda rigid and creativity can go right out the window.

Like it a lot,I think it would look good with a mini humbucker.

Looks fantastic.
I'm going to get some nicer screws for the muffler as the ones I used look too new and out of place with the overall character of the build.
