I have a close up of the headstock face. I used 2 1x2's sandwiched together so the neck thickness was cut using a jigsaw on each half alone. then when I cut the angle for the head I used a coping saw...it took forever (seemingly). The box could have used more detail, it took an afternoon to do. The whole box is from cedar 2x4's, and cedar lathe from a demo-gut i am doing.
Thanks guys. Yes Wes I really challenged myself on this one too. It is the first CBG I have wired a piezo to a pot, the first I have done an angled headstock (NOT scarf-joint), the first neck and fretboard I have put tung oil on, first to correctly slot the nut, first to build a case for. And the very first I have done in such a short amount of time. I am hoping it will fetch over $150 for my daughter's school. fingers crossed.
