  • Very nice.   I play a lot of DGB also.    Good luck with the action.  Pretty important.  Just my opinion, but I like piezos fine for DGB.   I'm more often going for acoustic or amped acoustic with that tuning.

  • Good job and good idea on the stickers also! It does make the box look really cool if all the stickers are there :-)

  • Awesome Tess!

  • lookin  gud  tess   ;-)

  • So Its playable ... just !. I still need to lower the string action so I can fret it without slicing my finger tips open and I am yet to add (after I built it) a flat pickup. The tuning I finally settled upon is D G B using the 4th, 3rd and 2nd strings of a standard 6 string set. Its a 25 inch scale using a New Guinea Redwood (NGR) neck and bridge oh and the extra attachments are more of the same wood. just layered up. The fret board is birch I think? The inlays are black knitting needle. The Box is a Romeo Julieta box. The tax sticker and Habanos stickers were destroyed when trying to remove the packing tape from the box but were reprinted from internet images. I think they really give the box the CBG Character and looks a little bare without them. I also added a few extra printed images to personalize it to me.
