  • I am in love with that slotted headstock! The whole build so far actually. That box is stunning with it. 

  • Yes I entered Ships company a few years later my WO use to tell us about the 750's , and Roger that on the non drinkers I did the same we were even aloud to get liberty men to buy there cans before stepping , not bad on a duty night 12 to 18 cans , not to mention the half bottle of rum . 

  • From memory, from my Navy days, the Beer Issue was one large Tinny (26oz/750ml) per day,  which cost the princely sum of 20cents, so needles to say when I got onboard a new ship, the first thing on the agenda was to befriend all the non-drinkers, "for obvious reasons"  :-)

  • A couple of Goodun's in the making there Bones, what time is Beer O'clock on the Apple Isle ??, beer O'clock on the Sunny Coast starts anywhere between 5am and 5pm :-D 

  • Yep I found a box of 10 packets in the back storage at Maccanns and they are $6 cheaper than the covered ones .... I bought the box of 10 ...... 14mm slot works great . 

  • You got the two hole long shaft tuners too and just the right size slot.

  • Cheers Brian ,beer o'clock ..... Slotted head worked out ok a little bit of extra work for a smart look.
