  • Yep all good Glen knows his stuff mate thanks for putting that up I’m sure all can benefit from what glen has penned . Maude one day we could do a colab build I do the box n elertics you do the neck or other way round food for thought mate .

  • Thanks Bones!, just interested in what others do & use for Tone Control on Piezo's, everyone seems to have their own different method & ideas on what to use, but read and copied the article below off the Cigar Box nation site some time ago, and did buy some 1M pots, and also have a variety of different sized Capacitors, the Pots are large, so will do a build to accommodate them (One Day!)

  • Yes sir there’s a hearattack in every pile hahaha . Ok I use 250k pots & normally 0.022uf or 0.047uf I stay away from 500 k pots there too big to fit in the small boxes hope that helps AGP .

  • "Ha" gotta watch the slippery onions!, have yet to use a Tone Control on a Piezo Pup, what size Pot & Cap do you use ??

  • Ha I just got back from Bunnings and avoided the sausage sannga can't afford a broken back or leg ...... As long as the piezo are incased they work ok I find they go well with tone control capped reduces alot of the squark .

  • "Nice Sanger Bones", I'll have mine with a Sausage and Onions (ala Bunnings), just about to do a couple of "Piezo Powered Builds", something I haven't been very fond of in the past, but willing to give them another chance :-)
