this pickup configuration has many variable settings to get many types of common and not so common tones from the guitar. it is a marrige of the fender and gibson designs in more ways than one could possibly figure. the body is a hollow tele design and is made from pvc substrate and aluminum d-bond material that goes right down the center of the guitar in a plate form that is one eighth of an inch thick. the hole pattern is the same on the aluminum plate as is the top.the whole body is held together with stainless steel screws.
