my homemade miter jig wouldnt work on this guy. The wood was too hard to cut at that angle with the table saw, so I had to eyeball it and do her by hand w/o the jig.

My first guitar I named "The Amputator" b/c I sliced 2 fingers *really badly* with a chisel. There are still stains where blood soaked into the wood of the neck so deeply I couldn't sand them out.
well I've never been "handy"...but I never tried either. I've always been a relatively quick study when nobody's breathing down my neck. Give it a whirl bro...ruin a few until you get it right. Nobody posts the pictures of their blunders...only the good ones.
I have however almost really hurt myself a few times being less than attentive to what I was doing...or doing what I know I probably shouldnt. I'm done doing "questionable" things with power tools that spin razor sharp steel at whirlwind speeds.
