My new build.Vintage look three string reso.It sounds very strong.All metal hand bent and cut.Check out the cool knot hole on the bottom of the neck.The neck is old ash and hard a damn rock very hard to sand.Thanks fer looken again.

  • Thank you for the quick answer, and it's just as I thought it was. Basicly you could build your necks to any scale, with the piece that goes inside the box longer that it can be made to fit many boxes.
  • Well I have a short piece inside the box from the end leading out of the frount as you can see.The neck sets on that piece and screwed to it.The head piece is an overlap very simple to do.You should have no problem.Just make sure the neck is thick enough I would think at least on the low side 3/4"to an inch should be ok.
  • Charles, is that neck just 3 pieces of wood? The reason I ask is that I live in an senior apartment complex with nowhere to build cbg's and your neck design would be just the ticket to build cbg's. A hand saw and a drill and a coping saw would be all that I need.
