Thanks. I just carefully wiped down the wood with some used motor oil, immediately wiping any excess off. If you're fairly quick & somewhat careful about it, the paper edges are hardly affected. If any of the paper edges peel up, you can just glue them back down, but I rarely have an issue with that.
