Hi John, I doubt if I will get to Daytona Beach but it's a nice thought, bit of a trek from here in the UK still a nice git to be proud of mate, all the best, Chris. :)
Thank you Chris, it was fun to build . I put a pice of Poplar in side the box and cut a slot for the neck into the top of the box long enough to keep the length of the from nut ti bridge the same as Fender scale when I installe the tremelo. It has three springs inside the body exiting from the back to hook into the tremolo . 1 Humbucker and 1 volume control and this little git cooks. I made it for a Guy who plays out in the Daytona Beach Florida area named Mark D Moore, so if your ever in that area you can hear it played, or buy an old Mexican Strat and build your own. I'll add more pictures.
