I have a set very much like that. It's a set for what in Lebanon they called (if memory serves) "Ric-Rac", or in the West "backgammon". We lived in Lebanon in the 60's, and the set I have was my older brother's; I got it after he died. I've been trying to find a Lebanese person to teach me the game as it's played in Lebanon (my dad and brother would play it that way, but they're both gone and I was too young to learn it or remember). Failing that, I'm thinking that a fitting tribute to my dad, my brother and our history in Lebanon is to make a guit from the box. Thing is, I'm pretty new at it, and I want to make sure I make it VERY WELL with no gliches or ugliness from inexperience. You did a great job--even a volume knob with the pattern! Well done!

Thank you Andy. Yes, there is a Backgammon game inside this chess game. And the volume knob is made of 3 game figures, Good luck during the building
