I had to add a block of wood to the end so my scale length would work out. Lessons learned.

Yup, looks good. We live and hopefully learn. In my case, I forget and have to re-learn. A good thing to know is that the scale length - nut to saddle is exactly double the distance from nut to 12 fret.
