if you want to add widget, the the guts out and add a wooden block, it will sound a bit better and not come off the table or move around so easy

Planning a CBG amp using this old Emerson radio. I'm using a CB Gitty Amp kit for the build.
I'm keeping most of the guts in for weight, and yes I cut the power cord.
