You see that space on the left between neck and inside of box, I filled that in with a pc. of wood also, other side was crowded with the knob bottoms and jack plug hole and wires so I didn't add anything else on that side, I had to drill out underneath where the volume knob was to accommodate it because where it came out there was solid wood under there. This was a tough build but everything came out great on it. This is a heavy little guitar.
