Well because it is an older violin I was thinking of a project consisting of basically violin body a 3 string sized neck, a possible musicvox styled tuning head with modified bridge to either strum/pick or use a bow but stick to a standard neck style/string height to play as a guitar and still get good results with a slide.
Sounds good in my head so we will see.
Would actually like to reproduce the eerie sounds that my Ukelin makes but I think much of that is the piano type strings that are on it.
