Cheers Hal. Yeah I like the asymmetry. If u scroll down to bottom pic you'll see the angle that I put the end block in at. The wood came from a crate. Top maybe 1/8 back a little thicker.
Just saw this - SWEET! Did you start with a 1 x 2 for the neck and body sides? What's the thickness of the back and sound boards? Love the assymetrical shape - was that intentional or created "on the fly"?
Tassie oak neck and sides and pine top and bottom from a crate. Little chunk of redgum bridge and purpleheart and pine tailpiece. Only the purpleheart is not recycled (It was a gift from Ted Crocker about 2 years ago)
