Buiilt as my father's Christmas gift - very carefully!Birch neck with oak support, wenge fretboard, Cherry headstock wings, acrylic nut and bridge. My father has been a carpenter for his entire life, so I used screws for the fret markers, and finishing nails for the markers on the side of the neck.Result: Not removed from the will just yet...

  • The combination of colours sets this off - very nice! Using bits from was your dads stock and trade is a nice touch also. My dad drove semi-trailers his whole working life, all I could use would be roadkill and broken branches ;-)
